For those interested, today's press conference can be seen in its entirety here:

YouTube deleted the entire press conference, claiming it a violation of their "community standards."

They've deleted other recent content involving him, including the fundraiser video, "Defense (Contributed)" that he posted.

EDIT: Youtube is scrubbing DD's channel. Gone are the original Ghost Gunner videos.

As insinuated in the Alex Jones interview, I believe that these companies (amazon, youtube, etc.) are digging their own graves. Eventually people are going to stand up and say, "enough is enough".

Yep, and a free market fix shall be forthcoming.

I think these companies will be regulated as public utilities in the future, just as power companies are.

The days of some SJW CEO in a hoodie wiping out content on a whim will be over.

That’d be the biggest mistake of all. Socialism.

I like Cody’s answer — Fund sites via bitcoin at the browser level. You pay for what you use. Aren’t beholden to the whims of corporate advertisers because that’s what got YouTube spooked to begin with. Big advertisers are fickle and if they perceive the platform will harm their brand because one of their ads may show up on a video of pewdiepie saying a slur or on something innocuous but not fitting their political agenda like a gun video (this has happened), they pull all their ads from the platform in total.

I didn’t say I wanted utility-style regulation, but barring any new evolution taking hold, I assess that the application of strictures on monopoly operations to end viewpoint discrimination will be the path taken.

I’m a private property Free Speech guy so I don’t want regulation either, I’m just making a guess at what others will do.

YouTube and Google are vital infrastructure now.

The days of some SJW CEO in a hoodie wiping out content on a whim will be over.

If not, there will simply be more of this:

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/04/04/us/youtube-hq-shooting/index.html

I certainly hope that won’t happen. More guv regulation and control over the private sector is rarely a good thing.

Perhaps the government will declare them monopolies and will just break them up into smaller independent units like it did with Ma Bell.

I got a couple of patches tonight. Tomorrow I need to set up a bitcoin account and do a little bit of contributing. I am a procrastinator at heart!

SO I have spent the past 3 hours trying to get my DL photos to be verified by Simplex only to be rejected several times due to several factors. I have reached the conclusion that Bitcoin sucks. It should not be this hard to get money into my wallet to donate. I am very close to just paying with a credit card. Are there any Bitcoin people here that have the secret "easy method"?
