Nice matching 40th series Jinsen made Arisaka, only drawback is no mum. Love the roughness of it. Picked it cheep on GB guy said there was something wrong with it but it was fine, bolt was not installed correctly.

Nice Jinsen! I’ve been on the look out for a Jinsen to go along with my other Arisaka’s.

I’ve always been drawn to the late-war Type 99’s more than the early war ones.

A winner! That's a nice T99 Substitute! Jinsen not easy to find.
Don't you just love when somebody mucks something up in a simple way that's easy to correct? Makes for great bargains. I got a Ross MKIII dirt cheap at auction when some monkey forced the bolt on wrong and everyone in the room was scared to death of it. Took me two minutes with a brass hammer to get the jammed bolt safely off the receiver and assemble it correctly. A $500 discount!
