Do you know what's involved in the NFA paperwork? Is there a link to it somewhere?

    what I need
M1 Garand(waiting for my membership card for GCA to come so I can order from CMP)
    SVT-40 - $$$$
SVD - I didn't know I wanted it. But now that i know I do. I need to get one and $$$$ i am sure

I just ordered my Garand from CMP, will they should have recieved the paperwork in the mail today, and I have a SVT-40 in the mail. So all I need is an SVD now. :) But I doubt i will get one. I think i am broke for a while now. Although the Garand will not be changed for a while yet so you never know...

Well, you'll be even more broke, because you'll have to move out of MD to buy the SVD.

On another forum a Russian was saying the SVT's were getting collector status in Russia, but they were flooded with AVT's ... some time ago he also told us its easier to buy full auto in Russia than a handgun. Got the impression a handgun there was about the same as here in MD, but full auto was cash & carry

    The SVT does not disappoint.

I think the top 5 have been covered, but I'll throw up a few things that I'm looking for:

    1) Another M1 Garand, I received my Winchester about a month ago and love it.
    2) Gewehr 98. I don't have one.
    3) M1 carbine. I don't have one.
    4) Winchester M1873. I don't have one.
    5) Browning Hi-Power. I don't have one.

Still have to do all the NFA paperworks, pay the tax monies, and submit 3/4 of your soul to the ATF to be held in escrow until your first-born child is ready for transfer....but, yes...if you have all the correct documentation, straight to your door.

    FFL means FFL.

First born ya say......well ya know I never was really all that crazy about her....:innocent0

    The Mo-Seen collection:

    1) I have a nice Hex 91/30
    2) I have a matching M38
    3) I have a Tula M44
    4) T53 should deliver today
    5) I want a M39

I don't have the bank account or interest to collect multiples of every variation ever produced. It's a small collection.

You should get a Finnish captured 91/30. They are a cool historical variant and you can find them much cheaper than other Finnish rifles.

Sorry I'm late to the thread, noticed not to much interest in Czech firearms so I will add a few more to the thread.

    1) VZ 22
    2) VZ 23
    3) German 24(t)
    4) Slovak Republic VZ24 (same as VZ24 but with Slovak Republic crest markings and wishful thinking of finding one)
    5) CZ 24

Seriously only one person has a g43 on their list!
I see a lot of svt-40 wants though.
    List:
    1.garand
    2.g43
    3.m1917
    4. 1903 springy
    5.many many more sks's
Number 5 may jump around according to what I see at any given time.

I can't speak for the others, but while I'd absolutely LOVE to have g43, I can't justify the expense for a correct example of something outside my collecting focus. I do own an SVT38, which is the Russian equivalent to the g43, so I'm good for that part of my collection.

Nobody said this couldn't be a fantasy list....
I will probably never acquire a g43 but I will keep it on my list just in case I see one laying in the woods with no owner. My svt40 may have to fill its spot though.

If I could afford one, and had the stamp my number 1 would be a BAR followed by a Thompson, but I'm a broke guy so:

    M1 Garand
    M1 Carbine
    03 springfield
    Lee enfield
    K98 Mauser
