I ordered Chinese SKS from Classic, paid the $20.00 for a hand pick and this is what I got. The sling was extra with 1000 rounds. I very happy with it and can't wait to shoot her. ;) How did I do?

Kasad, Hasad or Hasa3. It looks like an Arab name. The stock has lots of minor nicks and scratches, but show lots of character. I'm going to keep it original. All parts match including the firring ping and stock.

It looks like what's currently being called a Sino-Soviet "letter gun". Some of these have a /26\ and some either didn't get that stamped on them, or the stamp is very faint. It should be just to the right of the serial number on the receiver, as in the first photo.

It's hard to tell from your current pics, but is your rifle in the same series and the one showing in the second photo? If so, some of those had light stampings for the arsenal, and they may even be placed where the stock hides them.
