Ľ 3,975,309: The number of active registered voters in Maryland, as of Sept. 30 ó just a couple thousand short of the state record of 3,977,637.

Ľ 2-to-1: The advantage Democrats continue to hold over Republicans in Maryland.

So, if you have every republican vote and only 51% of the democrats vote, Republicans still loose.

Even if we win we get hogan. It's like choosing between having explosive diarrhea or projectile vomiting.

***my point is that when you are outnumbered in the vote it should affect programs, taxes etc...not constitutional rights. By passing the laws that politicians pass they are going after your constitutional rights. Surely, that must be criminal and punishable right?

Imo, the act of writing an unconstitutional law is intent. It's not different than one person threatening another.
You're right about the numbers. In Maryland, they are insurmountable and will only get worse, demographically. But the whole "writing unconstitutional laws" part is more nuanced. Laws have many times been written and found later to be unconstitutional. That's the point of the long, grinding path to the SCOTUS. But all a legislator has to say is, "Well, it seemed constitutional to me." There's no intent to commit some act of unconstitutionality, there's only them saying, "Well, denying you an eeeeevil weapon of war doesn't stop you from your second amendment protected duck hunting with a single-shot shotgun." It doesn't matter that they're making (or pretending to make) a complete misunderstanding of the bill of rights, and the 2A in particular. They still have cover to write such bills and pass them.

Yes you are right , they will be the enemy and they will get zero from me . The politicians that want money from me can kiss my azz until i see some actions that would warrant me giving them money .

While I agree and would like to withhold giving money to them, they take it from me anyway. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to vote with my money. If I tried, they would freeze my accounts and send men with guns to seize my property.

No one is going to come knocking or kicking in your door unless you are red flagged or someone reports you for having illegal firearms. So it would be best to keep quiet about what you have and pray that you aren't red flagged over a relationship gone bad or neighborly dispute etc.

Also, dont put all of your eggs in one basket. Keep some of your firearms in storage, buried in the back yard, with a friend you can trust or at a place the police dont know about. Once they are taken you aren't ever getting them back.

When the 2A media finds that few if any have complied, it will send a clear message to the liberals like it did in NJ, NY, CT and other commie states...It's unlikely that confiscation will be ordered...mainly because liberals are cowards and they will be afraid that gun owners will take the fight directly to them...which we will....

The 2nd Amendment is the ultimate check and balance.

Maybe you can’t renew any state professional licenses you have, maybe you can’t renew your car registration and drivers license, maybe you can’t get a state tax refund, maybe you become a marked man until you comply.

How often do laws get repealed? Not often.

We talk about scotus helping. How has that worked for ny, ct, nj, cali?

Increase scotus to further anti gun movement:

Clearly there is a social justice warrior mentality sweeping the nation.
The non socialists seem to be becoming the minority.

We have the 2nd amendment, yet the infringements keep coming. They keep coming because the enforcers get their orders from those who made the unjust law.

Hawaii semi automatic ban

Someone wrote "Sooner or later SCOTUS is going to have to weigh in."
I ask: What year will that be and what do you do in the meantime?
oh, and is that before or after scotus gets filled with more who are anit?

Another thread titled:
"House Democrats Plan Vote to Criminalize Private Gun Sales This Week"

Now, they can keep making these and keep making these... even if only 1 of 10 get through, they will just put up 100, then another 100, then another 100.

The state has unlimited funds from our pockets to continue this fight.

We can vote them out of office. How has that worked out?

Is there a way to actually bring charges against those in office who violate their oath and tie them up in court and make them spend their personal money on defense so that they for once are on the defense instead of on the offense?

Yes. A revolt would be difficult because there is so much to risk - loss of jobs home, family, time incarcerated. I mean who wants to go through all that? I suggest, however, it we weren't so attached to our material lives, and cherished our freedoms more, we would stop working, stop paying taxes for a month. One Month and this country would be in turmoil. No money being made, no money being spent NO TAXES being collected. It's all a huge risk.

Stop the world, I want to get off.

I don't believe we can bring Oath breakers to court. If there are recall processes, we can do that. Many elected officials have no recall process - except at the ballot box. I believe they are exempt from civil liability for any matters they decide while in office as it is always assumed they are acting within the best interests of the public they were elected to SERVE.

However, I could be wrong.

I agree but registered voters vs. eligible voters is the key. What will it take for people to wake up?
