Tis a 1910 DWM . It is a bring back and I got it with a holster and two wooden floor plate mags sadly though no bring back paperwork came with it .

Here is my no-date DWM. Definately refurbed and rebarreled between the wars. Barrel is re-coded to the original serial. About 85% with decent strawing. Has pre-war eagles.

Came with the original holster (not repop), stamped with the warrant officer who brought it back's name and two mags matching to the gun. Don't have bringback papers but have additional provenance of the previous owner from the dealer that matches the holster, even managed to track down his email on an old forum about his service in the conservation corps but I think he most likely has passed.

Downside is it has two small mismatched parts (takedown lever and trigger), dont know if it was done during the war or after. Got into it about $1,000 last year a little high for a mis-match but not bad considering the holster and mags.

Also have a 1926 .30 caliber luger.........still have to find reloading gear and components for that one.

Both number matching (Vopo has DDR barrel) and shooters.

1940 CAI import. So sexy. My last pistol before 10/1. Um...guess that's about the best I can do.

I really want a tanker holster for this.

Edit: I just went through the thread again and noticed FPS mentioned something about a 42 being a Mauser? I never paid any mind to the 42, but now I guess I have something to do. Wonder if the S is significant...

Edit 2: Okay, it looks like it means it was made by Mauser and the S is just part of some complex coding system.

1936 Krieghoff: #'s match, very good condition unfortunately seems to have been buffed at some point in it's 77 years, but still a Krieghoff and a very nice piece. 2 mags(not matched #'s), 1936 Ryffel&Borns holster with proofed Luger tool.

Seriously though, good looking pieces in this thread. One day I will have one of these beauties. Either when I find a shooter grade that's not obscenely expensive, or when I have enough money that I don't care.

Since I am mainly a Machine gun guy, even my Luger is an accessory!

M.G.K. unit marked Luger. This is first and only Luger. I had wanted one for a while but the prices are all over the place and I could not decide what I wanted. However a MG company marked 1916 DWM is perfect. Its mostly matching, except trigger and mag. Barrel is pretty good and its a nice shooter. I got a soda can at 50+ yards so I am happy there. 2 other guns from the unit are owned by the big time luger collector Jan Still. My gun is a 1916 DWM #6901k marked M.G.K. 1 R.25 35

I actually really don't like this Luger forum but for the sake of the thread... Here are links to some more info on the guns. However I can't suggest the forum and have banned myself from it.
