Lol some of us have waited 6 months, others over a year. Then I see this crap. Ain't no way ATF isn't pulling off the top of the pile.

Safe to say there is no consistency. I doubt there is very much oversight into what those folks do over there.

That said, from check mailed to suppressor picked up for me was 87 days lol. I couldn't believe it when I got the call. This was May of last year, picked up in July.

Still waiting....

My check was cashed on Sept 17, 2019. I'm still waiting and considering this is not my first rodeo with getting a SBR last year you would figure the process would be quicker. Then i call and get told it is taking average 10 months to get approved, it just pisses me off that the process take less than 90 days for others. Not blaming the others but i am just jealious as shit of them.

do you have to have the serial number in order to call or can they look you up by name/ ss # ?

i cant get a hold of the ffl to get a serial number off my suppressor and am currently at almost 11 months out.

You need the serial number of the silencer or sbr, where you purchased it and your name.

so, i finally called, and my app that was received 6-4-19, is still pending.

After a little prying, i did get them to tell me that it had been placed with an examiner, whatever that means, but she said that could still mean weeks.

I did also hear from them that the pilot program of pulling off the top to cut turn around times, is still in effect, but she doesn't know for how much longer.

I'll take it to mean my August purchase means I've still got 3-6 months till I can pick it up. :-(

No stimulus silencers for me (well, maybe I'll buy another one once this starts improving).
