Hey guys, got a really nice gift from a fellow stone cutter.

It's nicer than anything I would ever pick up on my own.

The inside of the barrel has almost no wear marks between the barrel and slide. You can still see the heat treat on the muzzle end of the slide. Theres the one scratch under the slide stop but that's minor.

I'm starting to fall in love with 1911s and that's a problem. Sorry about some of the pictures, photographing pistols is really hard.

Very nice, looks all original (barrel marking is good for that S/N too).

Getting parkerized or phosphate finishes to look good with correct color, etc in a pic, and matching your in-person Mark I Mod 0 eyeball is pretty tough.
I like using indirect natural light (shade on a sunny day), I can never get indoor lighting or flashes to look right.
Background color makes a big difference too, white or light-color is used by a lot of "pro"s but using blue or red really does work better IMHO.

Nice! As much as I enjoy the 1911 platform I've never gotten into the GI 1911s...far too much of a specialty to keep from overpaying. It takes a lot of research and knowledge to know what you're doing.
