I was trying to install the ALG AKT trigger on my new Vepr, but it seems doesn't fit or I install it incorrectly?

After the installation, the hammer was unable to cock and latch to the trigger/sear (not sure what's that call) because the hammer has a hook shape and it's preventing it rotate.

Hope the picture helps explaining it :)

The hook aside, the geometry of the aftermarket hammer looks nothing like your stock hammer.

I'd be more concerned with how it strikes/won't strike the firing pin. And is that large U-shape notch on the original cut for cross pin clearance?

Was it sold as a drop-in replacement for your trigger group?
