Well, here is the new piece. Picked it up today, SP2022 with SigLite sites.

Well, as promised, here is my small SIG family.

P226 on the left, SP2022 on the right, and an SHR 970 in .25-06. Got it before they were discontinued, and its a nice little deer slayer.

I put about 100 rounds through the 2022 this afternoon, and I have to say I love the way it feels, but it does have a good amount of muzzle flip. Maybe Ill have to invest in one of those metal guide rods to replace the plastic and add some weight over the nose.

Now, I'm looking to get some sort of a 9mm. I'd love to have another SIG, so if any of you would be kind enough to make some recommendations from personal experience, or know where I could obtain one for a nice price new or used, or maybe you have one you'd be willing to sell?

Yes sir, I bought my 2022 from him. But he doesn't have any sig 1911s in from what I recall, and I'd like to hear more about them or try to perhaps find a really good deal on a pre owned one. That's a lot of money to shell out on a gun that I haven't heard much about as far as people's experiences. I'd also like to handle one first... :innocent0
