I am not a regular on here and my bona fides are unknown to you, but I am going to put this out there and take it as you will.

Some Maryland politicians, proving they are completely isolated from reality, have recently discovered the Assault Weapon "HBAR Loophole" and will be attempting to correct their mistake this year.

Just keep one eye on the usual suspects.....

So we'll have "banned" and "double banned" AR's?

Pre 10/2013 Non HBAR (Double Banned)
    Pre 10/2019 HBAR (Banned)

What about Bullet Buttons and Dickfers?

It's well known they will ban anything that looks remotely tactical or scary. However,
that's nothing wait till you see the bill where they will ban magazines over 10 rounds. That's more pressing to them than an expanded assault weapons ban. Both however will get pushed through this coming legislative session and there will be really nothing we can do about it. We were bent over the last time and we are going to bend over again! They are definitely emboldened and we really only have ourselves to blame. In my opinion these laws they are ramming through are not only Unconstitutional they are completely unenforceable! I'd like to see law enforcement agencies band together and stand up to these politicians and refuse to enforce ridiculous laws that go against the Constitution. The OP is right the usual suspects are up to no good. Also look for a complete ban on homemade / 3D printed firearms.

Just be lucky they don't truly care. They don't care to hire anyone or invest any of their own time into the bill. They copy and pasted the regulated list to the "ban" list. They take it upon themselves to add the "features" list copied from another state.

If they actually sat down and put some brain power into it HBAR's would be gone, 9mm like a-likes would be gone, 5.45's would be gone, S-12's would be gone, and they would "future" proof it will more "features".

So show they don't spend time researching it there were several guns on the "regulated" list that were never actually made or sold. Hmmmmm.

Okay, I know what's a dickfer, but what's a bullet button? Is it like a belly button on an AR?
