    Wow, this is very bad.
Serious quality control issues like this just shouldn't happen with modern factory ammunition. Someone really screwed up big time and I hope nobody gets hurt from this. Now I have to go through my pile of ammo to make sure I don't have any of the recalled crap:mad54:

I guess we're lucky this sort of thing doens't happen more often!

Does anyone know for certain the exact nature of this incorrect powder charge? Too little? Too much? Wrong kind?

I don't have anything in .45 yet, but I'm just curious.

It's been made a "sticky" for a while. Don't you guys use the "new posts" button?

I do, that is why i can't believe i missed it. But now that i think about it i was kinda focused on the hearings yesterday and the posts specific to the bills.

I was going to trade some 223 for Federal 45acp. Not familiar with their boxes, are the lot numbers printed on the individual packages?

I have two 100 rd boxes of Federal Champion 45 ACP, which I purchased from the Eldersburg Walmart. It appears these boxes may fall within the recall notice. I say it appears, as the lot number I have is WM52331 versus the recall number WM5233. Note, the stuff I have has a 1 at the end of the lot number and the recall does not have the 1 at the end. Any feed back would be appreciated.
