It is with great sadness that I must report the loss of a friend and forum member, Roger Lambie (a.k.a. Lambo). He left this world last night, but I believe that he is in a better place. Lambo was one of the few who was always there to support our cause, whether it be at hearings in Annapolis, street protests, as a volunteer supporting wounded troops at Quantico, etc. He was a man who constantly gave of himself for the good of others, a rare trait these days. Roger was one of the good ones.

I will follow up with funeral info once I am notified.

Fair winds and following seas, Roger. I pray that you find peace.

    [UPDATE] Evans Funeral Home
    3 Newport Drive
    Forest Hill, MD 21050

    Viewing: Friday 8/6/10 3-5pm & 7-9pm
    Funeral: Saturday 8/7/10 11am

    Burial: Parkwood Cemetery
    Baltimore, MD 21234
(Across from School for the Blind on Taylor Ave.)

Rest in peace Roger, you always made me smile and could laugh at yourself. I always liked and respected you. You will be dearly missed by me and many.

Really met him for the first time this July - great guy and sad that he had to go.

Any info on the cause of his death?

I will always remember Roger every time I hold my MDS Challenge coin.

RIP Oh good and faithful servant, there is a special place for you at the Lord's table.

I met Roger a few times, saw him on the way home from work one day. Like Huck said, every time I look at my challenge coin, I'll think of Lambo.

    Rest in peace.

May he truly Rest in Peace. Sincerest condolences to friends and family. Unfortunately, I never met him in person but talked via email and phone, very sad news.

    RIP my dear friend.
Roger and I as well as many others here had some very good times together and I will always remember him as a true patriot and friend.
Thoughts and prayers are with his family.
