I'm trying to find the article where I read Feinstein was going to retire if the Dems lost the Senate. So? Is she going out the door or just blowing more hot air due to arrogance and now her bluff is called? I'm interested to see.

I couldn't find a direct quote from her...
All I found in a well known news source was a "firm maybe" regarding Feinstein & Boxer. From the San Jose Mercury News:
"Some political experts believe losing all that influence might push them toward retirement..."

IIRC her term isn't up till 2018 and she will be 85 then, it might not be now but it should be soon, one way or another.
