As a general rule, assault weapons (i.e., full-auto) ARE ALREADY banned in Maryland unless you have a Federal license.
Anyone notice that the rifle in the first scene (against the tree) is a full auto machine gun and not an AR-15?
Wasn't there another one where the "banned" rifle pictured was actually a 9mm??

The idea that anyone (here or anyone else in the gun community) would prop their rifle up unattended next to kids playing or cruise it through the store while squeezing fruits in the produce isle......
