This was known to the public before he was elected, and yet there were/are people (on this forum as well) that thought that obongo wasn't going to touch the 2A issue in his second term. BS!

Doesn't really surprise me at all, and I'm pretty sure he will still go for many more restrictions before he's gone.

I believe his end game is no private ownership - don't think he'll get there - but he'll definitely keep trying.

I never trusted him, He comes from the land of Socialism.....Leopard doesnt change his spots. Not even touching the gun stance I don't like him...He doesn't stand for the America that our forfathers gave so much to create ! Him and his ilk believe they can perfect the socialist experiment....we will have 4 more years of this kind of crap..

I didn't think that Hussein would touch the 2A issue UNTIL his second term, and then, with no re-election to worry about, I figured that the flood gates would open up.

Therein lies is the crux of the whole matter. The ruling elite in Maryland can and are going ape$hit on the legislative side (present and continuing tense), but Hussein is going to get his a$$ handed to him on the federal level. The long term damage that he is doing (again, present and continuing tense) is appointing scores and scores of like minded individuals to the bench. I need not remind everyone that we are one "wise Latina" away from Heller being overturned...

Obama is stupid like a fox. He's been hanging out with "brainwash them to fear guns" Holder since his Chicago days; he was employed by the Joyce Foundation, which has funded almost every anti-gun organization in existence; he was given space to entertain during his first candidacy by George Soros, who has funded the websites and activities of anti-second amendment organizations including the Bloomberg School in Baltimore, and moveon.org, and only went stealth when people started to publicize it; he made the statement "I don't think people should be able to own guns" years ago at U. Chicago; he completed a questionnaire indicating he supported gun bans when he was an Illinois senator; he signed on to the U.S. small arms disarmament policy via the U.N. Millenium Declaration; he has appointed only anti-gun extremists to every possible position in the Executive Branch, including putting forth anti-2A judges and SCOTUS justices, and an anti-2A head of the ATF, which is arguably the organization with the greatest power to control 2A activities in the nation; and it just goes on and on. Yes, he was waiting like a frog for a fly for the next tragedy to occur so he could ride it, just as his other Chicago buddy, Rahm Emanual, mentored him. What energized him was reelection, when he realized he was now unstoppable to follow his true calling to turn the U.S. into a disarmed dictatorship. Don't be fooled. Kudos to ChannelCat for noting that we are only one "wise Latina" away from overturning Heller and McDonald.
