    You will need a permit to take care of the problem or hire a control operator. Beavers are only allowed to be trapped in Maryland. This time of the year the pelts are worthless. Getting someone to handle the problem will be expensive. You might be able to find someone when the trapping season opens to do it for less or maybe for the hide.

    Get a nuisance beaver control permit. Can't remember how long they are good for, I think it is 45 days or so and you can. I had to do it last winter on my parents property. Trapped 2 of them.

    Never asked for a permit. I've never missed. Ammo Box has 32 left out of 50 in 4 years. New cop of beaver every year. I flip the carcesse's over the lower side of the Dam and don't worry about them. Regardless of fur value.
