What would be ground breaking, and I may be giving up a million dollar patent by saying this in public, would be if Glock made single stack 10 round magazines that could both go into a doublestack magwell at the same time. That way you could obey Maryland's 10 round mag limit but have 20 rounds ready to go.

USPSA magazine? IIRC, USPSA a 170mm limit, which is why Magpul is developing the PMAG 27 GL9.

Not sure I'd buy these, but there's probably some sort of market.

It's the same length as the Glock 22round 40 S&W magazine which I have as well as the 33rd mags. I can't imagine carrying the 33rd mag as a reload, this is a little more reasonable.

Uspsa limited and carry optics have a 140mm limit. Most folks take a glock 17 or 22 magazine and add a baseplate. This isn't a huge improvement, just a little cheaper...if it fits the magazine limit.

Nice to have factory reliable 140 and 170mm mags for comp pistols and PCCs, without spending $50+ per mag/extension, or using a less than reliable aftermarket mag. I have a lot of 33rd mags, a little clunky to reload, or shoot prone with, love my Magpul 21rd mags, much quicker handling. I like these, and hopefully work with all the newly adopted PCC division length restrictions.

I figured it had to be a specific application like that like the G34 being made to fit in sanctioned matches.
