For those of you who eat and drink at Oloughlin's in Arnold, you may want to send the owner a message. They currently have a EndFamilyFire.com ad over the left urinal. They may have the same thing in the ladies room for all I know.

I may have had my last hamburger there depending on what he says. I am also sending this out to my club members 'cause many AAF&G members and competitors eat there after shooting.

What is 'endfamilyfire'? Obviously I can click it but if its straight-up anti-2a like MDA or the everytown bs I don't want to add to their traffic.

The reason I ask is that from the name it could also be anti domestic violence, or pro safe-storage education, without being anti-gun.

I suggest we form a group of gun-owning patrons and schedule a sit-down conversation with the owner. He lives in my neighborhood. We might want to propose our own signage promoting education on safe practices for firearm ownership. That might lead to some public seminars/trainings for area families and individuals. That group offers the same bromides. We could offer actually useful informtion and education.

If the owner resists this opportunity, then we let he know we won't be back and we'll spread the word.

I just went to their website. It is a Brady group, but the focus seems to be solely on safe storage of firearms.
    I don't have a problem with this.

I also don't have a problem with educating people about it, but if its part of a Brady group it probably doesn't stop with training and education.

They would most likely be supporting mandatory legislation and fines also. After all, look how much safer Maryland bore locks have made us.

    Brady group? Paper cuts coming.

Safe storage ends with; you locking up stuff 24/7 or jail.

Like many of these types of organizations, this one quite possibly shares its moneys with sister orgs. No way any of my moolah is going to ANY Brady organization.

It's got Brady plastered all over it. Boycott the place.

Tom's good people. I doubt he's in charge of men's room advertising.
