A couple weeks ago highli99 posted about his adventures at the Aberdeen 100th anniversary show. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to go to the WWII Weekend remembrance at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, PA. If you are interested in WWII history at all, I urge you to make plans to attend this next year. Here are just a couple pictures of some of the US gear that was there.

There was also armor and weapons from many of the nations involved in WWII represented here.

What is that little scout car in the last picture? Almost like an American Bren Gun carrier, but with an M2.

Looks like it would roll over pretty easily.

That's some great stuff. I wish I could have taken my Dad to see thnigs like that. He was a WWII vet, but I don't think they had those shows when he was alive.

Unfortunately, I don't know. Some of the vehicles had signs, others didn't. I think that I have some other pictures of it so I will check.

We are losing more and more of our vets every day. They did manage to get over 30 vets with incredible stories to tell to come out and share their stories and even sign autographs for those who wanted them.

There was at least one Medal of Honor recipient and I saw one gentleman who had made over 160 trips "Over the Hump" transporting supplies for the Burma Road under the protection of the Flying Tigers.
