Yeah, problem is during rut they dont come in during shooting hours so Im just on the edge of their area of operation so to speak I really only have seen does during hunting season on my property. The bucks are there during the spring summer and soon as they start shedding their velvet they pretty much disappear during daylight hours. I get them a lot at night but rarely in the day. There have been at least 8 different bucks that I can distinguish. I still think this might be the one spike I shot a couple seasons back. Ive heard many people say the opposite antler shows the animal had an injury and I would have shot it on the opposite side of the single antler...If it's just 2 years old, I'd let it go for 1 more year. I still think it looks like an injury. I could be wrong, but if it were on my property, I'd leave it for 1 more year. Try to find something about the deer that you can record. Something that only this deer has. Then next year look back on your records and see if this deer comes back and how the rack looks then.
It's up to you, it's your property and you can manage it however you'd like. I'm just giving you my take on the situation.
I wish you the best of luck this year. It would seem like you have a nice selection of horns to hunt.
Good Luck!
Kill it with fire!!!

My vote, skunk. (just cause Jim said coon )
Oh, and that tail is awfully long for a coon.
Great (new) pics, guys
I've got the same bucks coming in nightly between 9p - 3a.
So far, only one basket rack six point and spike/fork horns coming in the daytime.
I mixed up some deer cane and dumped it mid week. First time using the stuff. I'm going to check the pics tomorrow and see what came by.
I use these. One a year(put out just after deer season). Cheap(around $8) and the deer LOVE them.

I use the same, except late summer to fall I switch to straight salt. This is exactly what I've used for years. Much cheaper than the marketed deer blocks.
I put out three a year as they dissolve over time.
I wanted to see what, if any, difference the, "special" mixtures have over the regular mineral block.
the one with selenium is really good here.I use these. One a year(put out just after deer season). Cheap(around $8) and the deer LOVE them.

The second one is a dandy! Finally pulled a card. Here's a month's worth of good ones, all taken over my mineral lick...
I have a bunch more, but you get the picture.
