Have any modifications been done to the CZ Scorpion? Trying to figure out why it's priced so high when a 3+ brand new is around $700-800, not including the $100 CZ manufacturer rebate they have offered almost all year.

Yeah, I will give a ring on Monday to ask more details, maybe more photos. Looks like it is in nice shape and I am looking for a shooter K98. But with work before the holidays, I won't be able to *physically* get there until Thursday...
I have called before and got them to hold a gun for me. I can usually only make it down there on a Saturday. Timing is everything!
it's a 1944 BCD or BYF code, bore is a great and rifling strong.

Appreciate this info! Guess I'll call Tuesday then. Do you or your friend have any other photos? Do you know if any of the German markings remain, or have they been polished off? Not a dealbreaker, just a curiosity.
the only thing that has been taken off in terms of markings was by a german POW were the 2 swastikas on the barrel/reciever which is typical of a Russian capture.

I have also been eagerly waiting for a new inventory pic
I think it is on us locals to get in there and get the photos. I popped in just before the holidays but not much was different from the last set of pics, sans the RC K98 I wanted.
The next time I get over there, I will post photos, but won't be for several more weeks.
