    I have attended this event before. It is a great time with good food, people and guns what's not to like.

    Hopefully I will be able to attend this year.

    And it's for a good cause! A big chunk of the money raised comes right back to Maryland and supports youth shooting programs to keep the sport alive.

    Agreed. The JR Rifle program that I run (which is free) has been awarded a grant each of the last 4 years. These grants have provided rifles, ammo and other related equipment for the program.

    Many 4-H, Boy Scout and Youth programs benefit from the funds raised each year.

    (I am the former Southern Maryland FNRA Committee Chairman.)
