I get the feeling that they hit a wall in August 2017 due to all the summer sales. No real evidence other than the fact that my Griffin Optimus is still in NFA jail, and I bought that a couple weeks after the two that cleared recently. Which is annoying, because I really want to take it on my business trip later this month. Maybe I'm just tired of waiting haha
Yes, the Form 4 part was simple. I just filled out my license info instead of my SOT's. I was just curious if anyone had recent input on the wait time for a C&R transfer. I'm hoping for "special treatment".

The lady at the ATF said the shop should get the stamp in 30 days.

Damn this thread pisses me off. I turned a form 4 in for a transfer at my LGS in August. They didn’t mail it to the ATF until freaking November!!!! By the time I get my SBR I would have paid for it almost 2 years ago!!!!!

Oh, man, that SUCKS, plus, this scares the heck out of me because I am waiting for a MG to come in to my LGS on a form 3 (should be any day now) so I can begin the form 4 to put it in my trust. Maybe I'll see it in my safe before Christmas? ARRRRRRRRGH!
Just found out my Griffin Optimus was approved on March 7, with the stamp sent out sometime thereafter. As it has been longer than 30 days. NFA Branch suggested I contact my SOT after I called them to ascertain its status. United Gun Shop is trying to track down what happened. That is . . . Frustrating. I have a trip coming up in about a week and a half that I was hoping the Optimus would be going on with me. Assuming it didn't fall down behind a shelf or get misfiled, that is looking REALLY unlikely.

They didn’t give a reason. I just keep my mouth shut. I dont have a FFL so the only recourse I have is to take my business elsewhere.
