We setup at 25 with a Cricket. First day shooting. Shot 25 rounds... missed 2 total. She jerked the trigger and picked up her head. Lesson learned. She had a blast though.

Zero issues with trigger safety. She wants to come ground hogging with me next time I go.

Would love to see this published in the Capital Gazette. :)

...be like the sound of the 4th of July fireworks, with all of the liberal heads imploding over it.

Your daughter has a good sense of humor.

"What do you think of my shooting? Nyah nyah nyah!"

There are more pictures but those were the best ones. We even had a less on NPOA and the value/importance of breathing. She was aiming.. aiming.. aiming.. then she shook her head in a wiggle like here eyes wouldn't focus. I said cease fire, she took her finger off the trigger and held position. I explained why her eyes are getting "fuzzy" and told her to take a deep breath.. it was like I did some rocket science in my head and she was amazed laph out loud. the look on her face was great. She took a deep breath, held.. squeezed and hit the gong.

She did great and great finger discipline . Looks like she had fun as well .

    4 rules?

    1. always assume every gun is loaded.
    2. keep muzzle pointed in a safe direction
    3. know what's infront and behind your target
and her favorite to make sure everyone knows...
    4. keep your booger hook off the bang bang switch until you're ready to shoot.

Find a junior shooters program for her. Where are you located?

We currently live in laurel but our farm is in Westminster. I maintain a range badge at AGC. I want her to decide she wants more. I'm ready to support her, but I want it to be her choice not mine. Right now, she's happy with hitting targets. She does want to run the camera thru a spotting scope though so she can record when the groundhogs do backflips after been feed via 300 win mag... "One side is fine but the other side.. 'the insides are on the outside!'"

I have an appleseed gong set for .22 I have several firearms for her to learn or grow into if she chooses.
