Is there a website or some PDF that would show the features and differences with the Sig handguns?
There are 15 different models for the P226. Where can I find comparisons?

hey Maui, how do those CT grips affect your grip(if at all) I was thinking of a set for my 229 i use for the house gun.

They are a little thicker than the stock plastics but thinner than the rosewoods...
My hand is big enough that I don't feel much of a difference I love them...
I have them on all my P229's
PM me if you want a set I know where to get them cheap(er)

Just picked it up tonight from Hake's, P220BR-22 SAO, Ordered the 45ACP x-change kit yesterday, it will probably be a few weeks before I can shoot 45s out of it, but at least I have plenty of 22 ammo to tide me over in the meantime. And it came with a nice surprise A 2ND MAGAZINE, must have been in stock at the distributor for a while.

Nice Alucard...Would love to hear a range report on the .22lr

If you are coming down to the frostbite shoot you can try it out. The standard P220 frame is well made, as all Sigs are. It is basically set up like a 1911 with the thumb safety and SAO operation, very crisp trigger with no creep(does have a smooth light takeup that I prefer over the very short on-off switch trigger 1911s have, and very little overtravel, the ambi safety is a bit stiff, but it should loosen up, is a perfect size and shape, overall ergonomics and control placement are excellent.

I had a W.German P220, it was my first handgun, bought it used almost 10 years ago, and basically wore it out, probably put 50,000 rounds through it myself with who knows how many shot by it's previous owner. It never jammed, was always accurate, and always shot well. I basically wore out the locking block in the frame, and had to replace the hammer and sear due to wearing out, then traded it to a gunsmith for a USP 45 that I am happy with. I missed my P220 from the day it was gone, and have been on a mission to replace it ever since. I never liked the DA/SA setup, and wanted either a DAK or SAO setup, being it was desitined to be a range/plinking/CDP match gun, and not to be a working CC/HD gun, I opted for the SAO setup, if I were to carry it the DAK system would be preffered, just my personal prefference.

The 22 conversion kit that comes with it is one of the best I have ever seen, including dedicated 22 pistols. The chamber is a solid block of steel with a bull barrel machined as one peice, good extractor, excellent fit and finish. Even if it was not capable of swapping over to 45ACP it would still be an awesome 22, built much tougher than anything similar like mosquitos or P22s, and would be worth the $450 I paid for it. The fact that you can get the P220 and a factory 22 conversion kit for the same price as the pistol normally sells for sealed the deal. A long as it feeds reliably and is decently accuate it is probably going with me to the range more than any other pistol, especially when I can get the 45 top end for it, and shoot a proper caliber through it.
