    I haven’t had to resize. The cycle fine. Cheap as hell to shoot once you have brass.


    Yeah, made for subs. Gallant bullets are coated with something, they don’t foul the barrel. The Hornsby A-MAX is coated with a polymer tip.

    I see they have boattails. Do you have to flare the case mouth to seat then crimp like a pistol round? I'm running Nosler custom comp 190s and Berry's 220 with no crimp but adding another step to the process to load lead doesn't seem worth it. I've got the Lee FCD but I actually have better subsonic velocity standard deviation without it.

    Once have the opportunity to shoot again, I picked up some Maker REX bullets, want to see the results of these monsters

    The D&H standard AR magazines work fine with my .300AAC
    (I use only aluminum mags for .300AAC and only Magpul for .223/5.56)

    I too use different brand mags for 300. I use Hex mags. No problem. Easier to identify which mags for which caliber.

    I have the pmag for 300blk , haven't really compared side by side for the 5.56/.223 versions to notice what if anything other than labeling there is between the two. I did get the sand dyeable bottoms and used red dye to signify 300 blk.
