SA Hellcat Roster Question

Sorry, confused. I've been considering picking up a SA Hellcat pistol. Going to the MDSP Roster I see it listed: SA Hellcat HC9319B, however that model comes with both a 11 and 13 round mag, and I don't even see SA listing any 10 round mag versions. It appears that others here have purchased that Hellcat model. Can I actually purchase it in MD with both the included mags? thanks

My LGS blocked my magazines and I picked up the hellcat with the 11 and 13 round magazines blocked for 10 rounds. Alternatively I think if you have the LGS ship the magazines to a Free State you can pick them up there. I have no direct experience with option 2.

I’ve had MD dealers happy to do option one, but definitely refuse option 2, per direction (sternly worded letter) from the MSP.

No, and having the mags shipped out of MD for you to pick them up is pretty much a no also.

MDSP sent out a strongly worded letter a couple years ago that this was not in keeping with the letter of the law. And since MDSP holds the strings to a dealers "Regulated Firearms" license, most dealer seem to not want to poke the bear on the issue.

My LGS will order a pistol with a SKU with "high cap" magazines (from a manufacturer who does not offer a SKU with 10rd magazines), but is clear upfront that you will be getting a pistol without magazines.

...because we would automatically be drawn to the dark side of magazines with greater than 10 round capacity and start committing crimes. We wouldn’t be able to help ourselves.
