I mainly shoot 5.56 and 30-06 and bought a used Hornady LnL AP to reload. All my ammo has crimped primers. I know Hornady makes a $100 per caliber solution for swaging, but I like the idea of the CH4D swager... especially the price.

Does anyone know if I can make this work with my press?

I can't find any used Hornady LnL swaging kits... does anyone have one that they would loan out for a couple weeks for a reasonable cost?

If not, can anyone recommend a decent budget swaging tool?

    Thanks all, Mike

Another thumbs up for the Dillon.

I have two, so I don't have to swap parts for small and large primers

I have the Hornady swagging kit for my LnL AP and I love it. I can swage 900-1000 cases an hour. I bought a piece of tubing to go over the stripper die to eject the swaged cases into a bucket so all I have to do is feed the cases. I have the CH4D swagger for .30-06 and hate it. If you are going to swage a lot of cases spend the money it will save a ton of time.
