Heard Rush discussing this Kurt Schlichter Townhall column and it nails the left dead on in this gun debate.

The progressives don’t hate guns, they hate the freedom and control that guns give their adversaries on the right.

Understand that the left doesn’t hate the NRA. The NRA stuff is a distraction. Leftists are dumb, but they understand the power of the NRA is really the power of millions of Normal Americans coming together to defend their right to protect themselves, their families, their communities and their Constitution. That’s why they fear it. That’s why they can’t abide it. They want your voices silenced.

What else they hate is that union political contributions are getting looked into and the NRA is not. Among other things. Schools labor etc. This is old news but threatens the most powerful tool they have.

Even better, their heads explode every time they start yelling about gun control, more people join the NRA and they realize more and more that the Democratic Party only uses these political opportunities to attempt to create blame and hatred toward republicans. Democrats know that bans and continued pushes for gun control is political suicide when viewed from a nationwide perspective.

And it’s also not all about hating us, they hate themselves because they are fundamentally unable to defend themselves and it causes them to lash out to hide the embarrassment and shame they carry. Basically their all a bunch of pussies

I can spell for the most part but type for shit and hate the auto spell. I'm not one to pick on spelling...grammar maybe, but not spelling.
