    American or European? Mag release, that is....

    Most prefer the American (Side) to the European (Heel) mag release which drives down the European models price

    Also West German manufacturer usually commands a higher premium over Exter, NH especially against the early years of production in Exter

    I’m kinda in love with my Ruger 1911, the idea of getting a different .45 feels almost like cheating on my wife...

    I bought a SIG 1911. I felt like I was cheating on my Remington Rand.

    I’m taking a pass on it. Just couldn’t put down the cash, it should go to a Sig collector.

    So, what LGS has it?

    Share with your MDS brothers and sisters.

    I don’t want it but somebody else around here may let you shoot it as a thank you for a good find.

    What he said. I'm taking a shot at a little haggling on it, but not sure I can stretch the budget enough.

    {edit to add} I couldn't justify either paying the asking price or trying to dicker the package price down to what I can really pay now. It's a damned fine specimen, I took a close look at it today, so for the Sig afficianado out there I think it's going to be a nice acquisition.

    Original box and papers, 5 mags, OWB leather holster, everything only lightly worn, no slop in the barrel fit or anything... Yeah, I wish I had more spare cash now but I just don't. {/edit}

    Responsibilities sukk!
