Poll: Gun Rights More Important Than Gun Control
    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/08/26/poll-gun-rights-more-important-than-gun-control/
A Pew Research Center survey released August 26 shows majority support for protecting the right to gun ownership versus passing more laws to control who can own a gun.

According to Pew, 52% of the public want to “protect the right of Americans to own guns” while 46% support passing more laws “to control gun ownership.” The gap between the two positions was even larger when the question was posed to Donald Trump supporters, who chose gun ownership instead of controlling gun ownership roughly “nine-to-one.” On the other hand, when Clinton supporters were asked the question they responded in favor of more gun control by a “more than four-to-one” margin...

A Jim12 poll shows that unfortunately, a majority of people vote for candidates who talk a good game, are good looking, and belong to the "correct" political party, rather than candidates with whom they agree on the issues.

And those are the voters who even know what the issues are, and who constitute a minority of potential voters.

If America is dumbed down any more, we'll need to be placed in guardianship. Exactly what the Democrats want. With them as guardians.

If we had a Pokemon character running, half the people would vote for it for fun

(and the other half because anything is better than the current candidates!)

Since when has the People's opinion really mattered to those in DC? They will let us know what is best for us and we will allow them to dictate the terms by which we must live our lives.

The gap is even MORE telling ....

    Trump supporters - 9 to 1
    Clinton supporters - 4 to 1

    TAKE THE PLEDGE !!!

"more gun control", Well if the police and courts follow the law and keep criminals IN jail would be a huge start.
"Keep the DOJ" out of local and state business, let the police and court do their jobs.

    gotta be kidding me....
Chicago's officers now must fill out the new reports even if the stop leads to an arrest or citation. Before, during situations when cops wrote contact cards, they would never arrest or write tickets for those people being stopped.
Now, the new policy also requires the officers to issue receipts to people they stop. The officers have to provide their name and badge number on the receipt, in addition to a brief explanation for why they made the stop.
