I have one in 45 Super for about 20 years now. I don’t shoot it often but it’s nice. The SAs in 10mm look interesting. If I didn’t already have the super, I would be ogling those. I don’t know if they are on the MD roster. I handled one at a shop in Idaho about a year ago. It was nice.

Thanks, yours is a beaut also. I must have bought it the first year they were available. Got it from the shop that was in Burtonsville, can't remember the name.
He had 3 in the case, 2 45's and a 45 Super, kind of wish I had bought the Super also.

The Gun Rack (I assume). That is who I picked up the Super through.

Who has one and what's your opinion?

Always wanted one. I love 45s. Now that I've applied for the HQL and have grown up money now may be the time.

Also thought about something a little more vintage. Maybe an AMT Hardballer or something.

I'm told they're excellent for hunting Sarah Connors. :P

I missed a chance at a Hardballer a year or so ago, but I've heard great things. A lot of it could be hype, though, given Terminator.

Like this thread the internet gives really mixed reviews on them. Seems like you either get a turd or a real good one.

It seems like Kimber still makes a 6" stainless 1911

Who here has experience with Kimber products?

I have a Kimber Gold Match I bought over 20 years ago, has been very reliable and accurate shooting semi wadcutter reloads. I would buy another Kimber.
