    They’ve resumed some of the trout stocking but won’t say where. They can’t keep holding the fish at the hatchery.

    DNR posted notices on Big Elk Creek they have suspended stocking. It's opening day tomorrow I expect there will be some disappointed fishermen on Big Elk. :sad20:

    Check out Tenkara Rods. I got my son one last year and it’s a lot of fun. Just ordered one for myself. It really makes fly fishing simple. Very easy to set up, breakdown and transport. I can see most of my fly rods sitting in the closet for a while.

    I got into Tenkara fishing about 2 years ago. Have 3 different rods at this time. Love it! It's my favorite way to fish!

    No joke, I catch more fish now than ever before.

    I have an older Pflueger microspin combo. Love it. Great for fishing tight streams. I use 2 split shot and 2 corn kernels. Find a nice hole. Toss it in and let the fun begin.
