Anyone know of any local lead suppliers where you can get pure lead? Hopefully closer to Western Maryland.

As skooter said, not cheap and who knows what shipping will do to you. When I used to order (other, not so much lead) from McM-C for work, we would get things the next day with standard ground shipping. This was near BWI airport, might be 2 days for western MD. I think their main warehouse is in NJ.

Not for a muzzle-loader. Pure lead. Rotometals.com, or Google for sources. The best option would be to get on the North-South Skirmish Association BB...we've got suppliers who get pure lead for under $2/lb.

Give em a week or two, they'll figure it out.

Find someone who splices old lead power/ com cables or find it on old metal roof patches.
