    I've been having a little fun shooting clays with some rifles. At first my son put me on to shooting with 22lr. Then I wanted to see if there would be a little more "splatter" with 38, 357, 45LC. The 38s didn't seem to be much more splatter than the 22LR (if you hit the center, it just took out the center). The 357s and 45LC seemed to have the most reactions. (of course you have to clean up most the mess after, even with biodegradable clays).

    Now you gotta try doing it while they're flying. Jeff Cooper used to do it with a mountain as a backstop.
