Magazine Capacity

I know in the state of Maryland one is not permitted to sell, buy, transfer, or receive any weapon or magazine with a capacity exceeding 20 rounds (out side of .22lr tube magazines). However, possession of these magazines is not prohibited.

So my question is, if you have them, can you use them? Or is just the "holding onto them" a better idea.
