    Occam those are beautiful

Thanks! I brought home the first one as I was getting into CAS, and my wife saw it. "That's going to be mine," she said. "Go get another one for yourself." I felt very lucky (again!). What a gal. She likes the straight stock for her hand size, so I went with the fancier stock. We're both happy. Great guns to shoot. I've watched her hit a small paddle target at quite a distance, and then keep it spinning around the cross bar with all ten shots. So, you don't begrudge your wife a rifle she can do THAT with. :)

I picked this one up from JLowes a few months ago.

Oh that is sweet. That's why I never buy "special editions' I wouldn't even want to fire it.

Yeah...I’m not sure it will ever make it to the range.

I saw one like it down in Virginia and just had to have one. JLowes hooked me up.

If quality is on par with the 1895 I picked up a while back ill buy one. But I want to see a few in person and read a few reviews before I buy something with issues.

Yeah....I’m still a little suspicious of Marlin. I generally try to buy the old JM’s but the prices are going through the roof on those.

Going through dad's stuff this weekend, from top to bottom:
    Uberti (Navy Arms) Henry
    Savage Model 1885 75th Anniversary (.308)
.300 Savage (Model 99 I think, not marked)

Also a couple .22 levers. I didn't realize how many lever actions were around.

I'd be open to serious inquiries - I can't remember the top two being shot (bottom was my grandfathers).

That’s exactly what I’m looking for right now. Yours looks to be in great condition.
