I forgot to take a pick but 2 does and their fawns were just outside the fence this morning when dog #2 went out to pee.
Deer stood still and the dog never noticed them. They went about their business of eating up the clover when dog #2 went up the stairs.
Come October, Their attitude may be changing.

I have a similar situation. 4-6 move though every morning. The larger Does stay up in the brush while the fawns still in spots come right into the yard.

Here is a crappy pic I took this morning. Can't make them out but I could see two larger does right up in the hedge.

    Deer season is coming.

The deer have been non-existent for the first time in the 5 years we've lived here. Every once in a while, we'll see 1 or 2 in the back corner. Never up towards the house like in years past. Haven't seen 1 buck this year either. I don't know what happened. Usually in August we see a bachelor group and then 5-10 does all the time. This year, I haven't had 10 deer sightings the entire Summer.

    Strange!

This one was tip toeing below the house. She has been hanging around and now is bigger from the corn field below us. Of course come season she will be nowhere to be found. Chris

Yup I kicked up a fawn last month in the field just below where the camera. I think I saw the fawn the other night on the driveway, very seldom do I see both together. I have a buck that hangs around the hill above the house (no camera there). Chris
