1790's Scottish Castle Pike

This is just too cool not to share. Found this large pike at a flea market, the guy told me it came from a castle in Scotland. I didn't really believe him at first but always wanted an old pike, then I found pictures of the castle and the pikes on display in the castle once covering the walls and the ceiling. Years ago a family bought the castle and removed all the weapons donating them to museums and selling the rest. From Castle Grant, Strathspey Scotland. Pike from the Strathspey Fencibles......

Just over 8 feet long.

Good question, someone must've bought it from an auction and had it shipped over I'm guessing, maybe the guy I got it from or whoever he got it from.

It may also be boarding pike. It certainly resembles one in shape.
