There is a 700 table, Harrisburg show this up coming weekend (Aug. 19-20), at the Farm Show Complex.

$10 admission or $9 with the coupon,
    http://www.cegunshows.com/coupon.html

There are also two small shows South of Harrisburg this weekend, that may be worth stopping by on the way up to Harrisburg. These are probably better for those looking for older stuff, instead of the run of the mill big gun show stuff.

This one is about 5 miles East of Rt. 15, this one is also open on Sunday,

This one is about 10 miles west of I81, this one is only open on Saturday,

Can someone give me some details on parking and such? I haven't been to a Harrisburg G/S in probably 15 years so I don't even know if it is in the same place.

I want to bring some guns to sell but I have heard you have to take a bus from the parking lot and I won't be able to manage too much if that's the case.

    Thanks,

I went to the Dillsburg, nothing special. Small but didn't waste space on jerky, ammo was stupid high and no 30/40 brass!

    I. The Harrisburg show is great if you want AR's or new guns. It had lots of guns and some had reasonable prices. The guy selling powder at the far end was five bucks cheaper than Bass Pro so that was a good deal. A guy in the middle had Hogdon HP38, Blue Dot and Green Dot for $20 a pound. TNT reloading was also there and their prices are pretty good. The milsurps and hunting guns were pretty high.

I had a different experience than TargetGrade at Dillsburg. I found several kinds of Hornady personal protection ammo for $10 a box. One guy had Pryodex RS for $10 a pound. Another guy had Pryodex P for $17 a pound. It was still sealed and good. I found a Winchester 94, pre '64 for $375. There were some really nice deals to be had at Dillsburg.

The Win 94... if it's the one I'm thinking it was advertised as a 1966 vintage. Maybe I didn't see the other. Didn't look at powder, don't need it. I DID look for a turret press, none that I saw and NOBODY had 30/40. :) Soon as you walked in two very nice 03 Springfields on right (main hall) last row a nice 1917 Win sporterized. I was walking around with a older 03 to swap off. No, not wife, rifle.

Sorry, I'm pretty focused when I go to a show so I didn't notice you. From what I have seen, not too many people sell presses and molds at gun shows anymore. I think at Dillsburg there were two Lee molds and one .41 cal Lyman. At Harrisburg there were a half dozen. I would put a search on Ebay as I got a nice Lyman turret press a there few years ago for skinny money.

I think I'm going to Harrisburg tomorrow for ammo hunting and a savage crescent butt plate for a 1899. Looking to feed a Savage 1899 in .22HP and a Winchester 1903 .22 Win Auto. Last time I was there some vendor tried to tell me 22 Win. Auto was the same as 22 Win.LR. Hopefully the peep sight guy will be there with a Marbles tang sights for the 1899

I drove 30 mins out of my way from my youngest kids tournament in York.
Picked up some powder and SKS food for steel plate shooting. Some C&R that I thought was priced "ok" and who knows if I could have bargained but all stuff I had or was not looking for.
Most interesting thing was the reloading guy's booth was dead. No long line like you used to see. Maybe it was busier on Sat

No, even Saturday TNT was not doing much business. I remember when they started about 20 years ago or so, the lines were almost out the door at every show. I have found that most of the young people I know do not reload. They mostly shoot 9mm and 223 and just buy in bulk.
