    Say that 10 time fast....

Unpaid restaurant bill leads to barricade situation with bow and arrow: Police

Officers responded to the Grotto's Pizza on Sussex Highway shortly before 5 p.m. Feb. 19 for a report of two patrons leaving without paying their bill, according to police. It was also reported that the male patron, who was later identified as 28-year-old Schuyler Sutton of Silver Spring, Maryland, slapped a waitress' butt as he left the restaurant.

Officers quickly located the female suspect, who was identified as 24-year-old Summer Bueso-Shinn of Silver Spring, and took her into custody, police said, but Sutton fled to a nearby hotel.

Police said officers were able to track him to the Days Inn on Sussex Highway because additional reports were made to the police department about a man matching Sutton's description walking the hotel's hallways armed with a hunting-style bow and arrow.

When officers tried to make contact with him at his hotel room, police said Sutton refused to come out. It was then discovered there was an active warrant for his arrest out of Montgomery County for first-degree burglary.

Officers negotiated with Sutton for several hours before police said he surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident.

it may have been an assault bow with a high capacity quiver!

the problem appears to marylanders! :sarcasm:

edit: he had A bow and arrow (singular on arrow, so just one?). two cops could have handled that just don't approach single file.

That's a lot of headache over some pretty bad Pizza.

Why folks go so often to have as many locations as they do is beyond me.

Agreed, it's about the worst pizza in De. They do cater to a younger family crowd but the food is awful.

    Kid's lucky to be alive.

There have been plenty of instances of young small town cops dropping people for less.

Found another pic. Seems like a cheerful fellow, he's smiling in both of them.

There seems to be some disagreement about the original warrant... some sources say he killed deer on the King's land, others say he stole sacks of gold belonging to a local authority named Prince John.
