Looking for a nightstand safe

I'm looking for a simple easy to use handgun nightstand safe. This would be used at our beach place so I'm interested more in simply keeping young hands safely away from my revolver. Theft protection is not a big issue for me. I want to be able to get to it when I need it. Don't want to spend a lot on this one since it won't be used a lot. Any suggestions for me? $100 or less would be great. Thanks.

I really like the Knox Box. Solid and simple.

I've heard Vaulteks are pretty good. Have you considered an under the bed safe? Slightly less mobile (more cumbersome to walk away with), and gives you the option to store long guns or ammo, additional items. Both options can be tethered via metal cable and secured to a hard object like a stud, bed, or floor.

The Vaultek safes also have bluetooth and wifi which can be used to give you alerts in case it's tampered with or opened.

As far as under the bed safes go:

Not really looking for a larger safe. This would only be used to keep one handgun in a nightstand. That nightstand safe is nice but a little pricey. Thanks for the suggestions

Great safes but more than I want to spend on a safe that will be used infrequently

This is a little more than you wanted to spend but 1, it is made in the US, 2, it does not rely on batteries and 3, they have a reputation for well built products. I have owned them and recommended them for over 20 years and have no issues. I can open it in the dark and it is not easy to break into.

I like this one. Love the idea of no batteries. When you open it in your nightstand is there enough clearance to get to the gun without having to completely open the drawer? The one I have at home (gun vault) opens from door that swings down on the end so this isn't an issue.

I have had a V-Line for years as well with no issues.

For my nightstand, the safe does not need to be removed to get it open, but the nightstand drawer has to be opened all the way to open the safe enough to see what I'm doing.

There are hundreds of furniture ways to hid your guns.

I have done some of the projects on commission for a few select friends. I used a magnetic lock which is hidden.

Can you please attach a link so that I can be sure I know exactly which Knox Box you recommend? I too am looking for a small safe to store my HD firearm in my main living area. The primary role will be to keep little hands from accessing the contents of the safe. Thanks.
