I'm here at Franklin Square Hospital 7a-7p; volunteered to work--got this day off a many times years ago when the kids were young thanks to someone else, now time to pay it back since the kids are grown up and out of the house.

I am on vacation until next year. If not, I would still be off today. The company I work for is closed on Christmas. My wife is a teacher, so she is off. My sister, the nurse, goes in to work at 1400.

Been here since 0330, came in early for a Brother that needed off for his kids... I did Xmas yesterday. I work for FRS and I'm used to the changing of holidays. I have early sleep and then up overnight for all sorts of shenanigans... Off at 0700 tomorrow... Wife may stop by though and sit for a bit a see what it is that I do... I better look busy or the jig is up!
