I hope Lever revolution doesn't disappoint you like it did me. I tried it in my revolver and it worked mind. It my rifle it gave me 3 inch groups at 50 yards. I was not a happy camper.

I’m not too impressed with them in my 1894 either. I get better grouping with Winchester 240 grain JSP.

I sighted my carbine in at 50yds. In the thick woods I hunt, 50-60yds is about all further I can see to shoot.

    Depending upon the dia of the bull , if ( 240gr @ 1460fps) was dead on @ 50yd , it would be mildly 6 'o clock hold @ 25yds .

1460fps w/ Redhawk &240gr tip of the hat . Factory scope mount bbl is 7.5 in ? Did the 5.5in ever get offered with scope base slots ?

scoped or open sight with a 50 yard zero, from 25 to 75 yards is a dead on hold for deer sized game. This is assuming a 240 grain bullet with somewhere close to a .200 ballistic coefficient.

At 25 yards the impact is +/- 0.2”
At 75 yards the impact is -1.1”to -1.4”m

Both parameters are within the 8” effective kill zone for deerbies. Hold at the top of the kill zone for a 100 yard shot (4.5” of drop)

Well. My 7.5 " Redhawk with 4x Leopold scope pushing a 240 grain around 1460 fps (22.0 grains of 2400) dropped a 3 point dead in its tracks at 25 yards. Center neck shot.

I'd take a big revolver and small buck over trophies and a boring rifle any day. I'm not a trophy hunter, just meat and hopefully a unique gun to get it.

I shot a four point with the same gun beneath my stand at about that range down through the back. As soon as it was hit it used it's ESP to figure out where I parked and ran 100+ yards in the other direction before giving up the ghost.
