Just in case anyone gives a damn this looks like a good deal for MK1 sear assembly.
I bought one just for the hell of it and have no idea what it will look like on arrival especially from Numrich but worth a shot on what is usually a cost prohibitive part not usually found on a lot of mk1 o3's.
Mark I 1903s are an interesting rifle but few have escaped rebuilds that changed barrels or other Mark I parts. Very few seem to have their original, correct stock. Only twice have I ever seen a genuine Pedersen device for them...only about 125 are estimated to have escaped destruction.
Somehow I managed to get a more detailed pic of a leather bag than than the relief on the stock. I only ran across this one because it was on another rifle.
I bet some are out there and a lot of people just never noticed them.
That one is nice.
Mine doesn't have the cutout though the stock is otherwise the same. 1919 with a 6-44 barrel. So it was rebuilt, but is in great shape with a beautiful bore. I got it in 2006? from CMP.
