Is anyone familiar with HB 898 (Election Law - Campaign Finance - Coordinated Expenditures) and HB 1498 (Campaign Finance - Political Organizations - Compliance and Disclosure)?
I'm not a lawyer so I'm not sure I'm understanding these bills correctly but it seems like these bills could have a negative impact on political action organizations. Could these bills make it harder for groups like MSI to oppose anti-gun candidates in future elections?
My understanding is that these bills are going to the governor for signatures. Should we be concerned?
