Hello Maryland Shooters
My name is Willy and I'm from central Maryland where I grew up on a farm . I have a love for 1911 pistols and a few years back I acquired a couple black powder pistols . I am a avid hand loader . Also I use to love to fish , especially floating in a canoe on the Monocacy and Potomac Rivers for smallmouth bass .
My main love is Mauser rifles in the prewar style of express rifles . Over the years I have bought tools designed to true Mauser actions , reamers and gauges , a jig to drill and tap for scopes and receiver sights , chisels and scrapers for stock work and checkering tools and much more .
I'm a unapologetic Bubba . At the moment I'm putting together a 308 on a Yugo action and a 35 Whelen on a VZ24 . Also while waiting on some tools for these two I started to work on a 243 varmint rifle that I'm inletting into a walnut blank .
