Actually I have fired a .308 pistol. One of those single shots with the rotating breech that has been sold under several names. Fired two handed offhand hit what I was aiming at. Had a *bit* of muzzle rise , but waasn't painful or anything.

Heard from Andy at Engage,it's not on the MSP firearm list and it probably won't since it's consider a assault pistol
The handgun board approved SIG's and Kel-Tec's evil looking handguns.
What is it a copy of?
Also, if one goes the NFA route, it is exempt from MD laws.
