I wanted to share my recent experience with Hornady because a lot of companies don't have the best customer service these days...

I bought one of the auto powder measures about 15 months ago. Last time I went to use it, the motor sounded funny and I noticed a burnt plastic smell. I called customer service and he had me try some different settings, but it was obviously dying.

The product has a one year warranty and I was 3 months past that.

They had me send it in and shipped me a brand new unit within two weeks.

Another happy customer story. Back in 2013 my son bought the Lock-N-Load progressive press and for various reasons never used it. Brought it to me earlier this year when I started reloading. I noticed that it would tilt the case a little bit when seating a bullet because of an alignment issue. Hornady paid the shipping in both directions and replaced the entire ram assembly.

I like their products too. I use their bullets and reloading manual to develop ammo that is close to factory ammo specs.

They are great to work with. They tuned up my Pacific 366 shotshell reloader I bought used a few years ago free of charge even though it was probably 20-25+ years old. They also had replacement parts to me in 3 days when I bent the primer punch by accident, not free but they certainly rushed to get them out the door. They also had 2 new primer slides for my Lock-N-Load overnighted to me when the ones that came with my new press had issues sliding smoothly. Can't say I've ever worked with a better company than Hornady!
